St John’s Boxmoor: Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols

Although Christmas may be slightly different this year to normal, it is certainly not cancelled. There are still Christmas events happening over the festive season in line with government guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone in our community.

On Sunday 20th December at 6:30pm, St John's Church in Boxmoor will be holding a Festival of 9 Lessons and Carols.

They have kindly invited keyworkers from around the Dacorum community to read the lessons, and we are very proud that John Worley will be reading the third lesson.

The service is open to all, but to ensure numbers are kept at a safe level, tickets must be booked in advance. These are free and are available from:

Details of other services being held over Christmas at St Johns can be found at their  web site:

But Christmas might not be the same for you.

In this short article, Grief Journey’s Dr. Bill Webster shares three gifts to help those who have suffered a bereavement, deal with grief over Christmas.
